Dave Kaverman, a partner at Acuity Mergers + Acquisitions, brings insight and perspective from his experiences both with corporate management at General Motors and Hewlett Packard and with business ownership of the area’s top independent bookstore. After leaving the corporate world to open his own business, Dave built his book store into the largest independent book seller in the state of Indiana and one of the top stores in the Midwest region. For the past ten years, Dave has been helping business owners with buying and selling their businesses.
Jim Hanson, a partner at Acuity Mergers + Acquisitions, brings insight and perspective from his experiences both with the nonprofit world and as an attorney. Jim’s background with non-profits includes years of experience with churches and parachurch organizations. As an attorney, Jim has worked with legal issues ranging from estate and business planning to family law litigation to in-house corporate legal work. Jim’s experience in the Army as a noncommissioned officer provides additional insight and experience with organizational and personnel leadership.
